Stretch Mark Treatment

LASH’D UP STRETCH MARK TREATMENT

 WHAT IS IT?

Our Stretch Mark Treatment is a safe, non-invasive cosmetic procedure used to revise stretch mark scars on your skin. This method involves using a medical grade healing serum which improves the tone, texture, and color of stretch marks and other mild scars with minimal pain. What is great about this treatment is that instead of using pigment as with camouflage, a vitamin rich serum is used to stimulate collagen production and helps the skin regenerate on a cellular level, which means that after the treatment you will never have to worry about pigment not matching skin tone, fading over time, or not being able to suntan.

By stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, this treatment makes your skin look rejuvenated and youthful. Lash’d Up’s Stretch Mark Treatment is totally safe and can be performed on most parts of your body except the face. The results of the treatment are permanent on some as long as your weight remains stable, and touchups are recommended for others. It is a great way to improve the appearance of stretch marks and gain your confidence back. We are so excited to offer this highly result driven treatment to our clients!

Having stretch marks is extremely common. A stretch mark is a type of scar that develops when our skin stretches or shrinks quickly. The abrupt change causes the collagen and elastin, which support our skin, to rupture. As the skin heals, stretch marks appear. The most common reasons for this include puberty, rapid weight gain or loss, pregnancy, and rapid muscle growth due to weight training. Popular areas to treat are abdomen, thighs, hips, buttocks, back, and calves.
Healing varies per client and you may notice anywhere from 50-100% improvement after one session, however every case is different and multiple sessions may be required to achieve the results you desire.

Patch tests are required for darker skin tones/Fitzpatrick 4/5/6 clients and are available for those who'd like to see how their skin reacts to the treatment for a $60 fee (that applies towards the full treatment cost if you decide to continue and complete the treatment).

$400-$700 per area

(Pricing may vary depending on the size of the treatment area. Extremely small areas may qualify for additional discount. If there is more than one body part needing to be treated, a package price is available. Please send us a message or e-mail with photos to schedule.)

FAQS

How many sessions will I need?
Treatment sessions will vary depending on the severity of the stretch mark/scarring and individual skin response. A total of 1 to 5 sessions may be needed to get your desired results. Some may see significant results up to 50-100% after 1 or 2 sessions, others may need several. Results are not guaranteed as in some cases there may not be a significant improvement. There is maximum amount of five sessions for each treatment area, with a minimum healing time of 6 weeks in between each session per treatment area. If you do not see results after 5 treatments, we do not recommend any more treatments.
What skin ailments can be treated?
This treatment is mostly used for stretch marks, although it may also improve the appearance of mild burn scars, surgical scars, self harm scars, injury or trauma scars, bbl/breast augmentation scars. To see if the area can be treated, please send us a message with photo of the area attached.
How does the procedure work?
It works by causing controlled trauma to the skin in addition to adding a medical grade serum full of natural oils & vitamins that work to help promote collagen, elastin, and melanin production.
How long does the procedure take?
The length of the treatment completely depends on the size of the area to be treated. On average, anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, a small area takes about 30 minutes, and larger areas can take up to 3 hours.
Is it permanent? How long do results last?
It is important to note that the treatment is not guaranteed to completely remove stretch marks. However, it can help to improve their appearance and make them less noticeable. In some cases, they will become undetectable and remain that way as long as you stay at a stable weight.
How long does it take to heal?
Usually, it takes 4-6 weeks for the affected area to heal and 3-6 months for clients that are prone to hyperpigmentation. After that, we can determine whether you would require additional sessions.
How long in between sessions can I receive another treatment?
Clients must wait until 6 weeks to make sure they are fully healed before they can come in for another session of the treatment. Clients higher on the Fitzpatrick scale or those prone to hyperpigmentation need to wait 3-6 months between appointments.
I am diabetic, why can't I receive the treatment?
People who are diabetic have a higher risk of developing skin infections and may have more trouble healing. If you are diabetic or have any other contraindications and are considering the treatment, please consult with your doctor first and get an approval note from your doctor to bring with you if you’d like to have the treatment.
Is it painful?
The process is not too painful, and no pre-numbing cream is used. Some clients say it feels like scratching and others say no pain at all. Skin that has stretch marks that are extra thin can be sensitive. For this procedure it is best not to use any anesthetic, as doing so can slow down the bodies response of healing the treated area. If in the rare case that you are in pain during the procedure, we can choose to add a numbing topical for 30 seconds, but keep in mind that it is not recommended as it can alter your results.
I am Fitzpatrick 4/5/6, why is a patch test required?
Fitzpatrick 4/5/6 clients require a test patch to determine if an excessive melanin response occurs resulting in hyperpigmentation on the treatment area. Due to what is typically a strong melanin response, Fitzpatrick 4/5/6 clients may require fewer treatments, however, we need to ensure the response is not so strong that hyperpigmentation occurs.
How soon will I see results after the procedure?
As soon as within 4-6 weeks, or 3-6 months for clients who are prone to hyperpigmentation.
Can I suntan post procedure?
Yes! Unlike Ink Camouflage for Stretch marks, this method does not require any colored ink, it is completely your own skin that heals itself and you do not have avoid the sun. You can suntan once the area is fully healed at 6 weeks and for clients prone to hyperpigmentation after 3-6 months.
